Overview

What is remote support?

Remote support means: someone – for example your IT support – can see and operate a computer from a distance, as if sitting right in front of it. That lets problems be solved without anyone having to travel. With RustDesk, this connection runs over your own relay server instead of a third-party provider's servers.

An employee has a PC problem → support takes a look remotely and fixes it directly, with no site visit.

Access across locations → work on a computer in another branch as if it were next door.

Customer support on screen → you show or handle something directly on your customer's device.

We already use RustDesk in production ourselves – our relay runs at desk.vant.ch on Swiss infrastructure. We set up the same sovereign setup for you: encrypted, without a third-party cloud and without per-device licence costs.

Does the connection go through third-party servers?
No. We operate our own RustDesk relay server on Swiss infrastructure. The remote-support connections run over it, not over a third-party provider's servers.
Which devices are supported?
RustDesk runs cross-platform on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS. So you can control or access almost any device.
Is remote support secure?
Yes. Connections are end-to-end encrypted and run over your own Swiss relay. Unattended access can be set up in a targeted, password-protected way.
